Most people buy the Throohills 4001 Siphon Feed HVLP Spray Gun, 1000cc Cup: a siphon-feed gun with a 1000cc cup for bigger jobs. For touch-ups and fine work, a gravity-feed gun with a 600cc cup — the 2008 or the H827.
Siphon feed or gravity feed?
A siphon-feed gun hangs its cup below and holds more paint; a gravity-feed gun sits the cup on top, wastes less paint and suits smaller, finer jobs.
Which nozzle size?
